Church Life

Bible SchoolBible School

Each Thursday evening, King's Church meets for its weekly study of the Scriptures. The courses offered have been varied, but usually centre around an informal teaching session where questions and answers are encouraged. Some of the courses are weeks/months in duration and conclude with an examination for those who would appreciate taking it, but it is not compulsory!

In recent terms we have taught a comprehensive introduction to the Synoptic and Fourth Gospel, plus an eight week course on the themes of the Book of Acts, and a multi-session course entitled 'Epistles of Fire'- teaching through the origins and themes of each of Paul's New Testament Epistles.

If there are notes available from the sessions, they can be found on the website under "Ministry Notes". Each study evening begins with coffee at 7.30pm and the session begins promptly at 7.45pm.

This term we are having a brief break from our New Testament studies to take a few weeks to look at  "The Book of Jonah: Understanding the Book for Today.
