Helping Charity
Part of the vision statement of King's Church is to 'help the poor' - whether this refers to the poor in the UK, on our own doorstep, or further afield, internationally. Members of the church are actively encouraged to give their time and talents to those who are perhaps less fortunate than themselves.
The Three Peaks Challenge
King's Church sent a trio of athletes to take on the 'Three Peaks Challenge; a twenty-six mile run in Yorkshire in order to raise money for the debt counselling charity 'Christians Against Poverty' (CAP).

'Women of Worth' Walks
In April 2011, the church ladies took part in the 'Women of Worth' project. This is a twelve mile walk in aid of the ministry of World Christian Ministries, sheltering and feeding widows in developing countires. The weekend raised six thousand pounds for the appeal.
