Our Leaders

The Senior Leader of King's Church is Peter Cavanna. who has been in Cambridge since October 2000. Peter is an accredited minister with the British Assemblies of God, one of the oldest Pentecostal movements in the world. As well as leading the Cambridge church, Peter also served on the Assemblies of God Regional Leadership Team for many years and operates in a growing international itinerant ministry, teaching the Word of God and seeing wonderful demonstrations of Christ's healing power everywhere. He is the author of two books: "Discerning the Spirits" (2006) and "The Healing Ministry of St.Paul" (2009) and often writes for Christian periodicals. He is a visiting lecturer at Mattersey Hall Christian College, teaching 'Communicating the Bible'.
Peter is married to Jane who serves the church in a pastoral role and as the Community Officer, initiating and running many of the church's community services. She also heads up the 'Aspire' womens ministry and weekly teenage group: King's Youth.

Supporting Peter and Jane are Philip and Emma Shaw, whose heart and energies are for the Kingdom of God and the establishing of a church of excellence in Cambridge. Although still only a young man, Phil has an extraordinary prophetic gift and is often used to bring a sharp word from heaven wherever he goes. As a professional designer, Phil is responsible for all the church's excellent graphics and also supervises the Sunday worship teams. Emma is part of the worship and Treasure Kids teams, and they have a two young children, Jacob and Lewis.
